All of us who have been following Rod Stewart as fans and concert-goers for a very long time know him as a man who is usually in a good mood, with a cheeky sense of humour and who is basically up for any kind of fun. However, the rock icon can also be quite different and is not always the good-humoured uncle, as he has now proven with a post on his social media channels in which he settled accounts with British TV presenter Gregg Wallace. Stewart accused the presenter of the TV cookery show ‘MasterChef’ of humiliating his wife.
The singer wrote: ‘So Gregg Wallace gets fired from MasterChef. Good riddance Wallace,’ Stewart said, adding, ’You humiliated my wife when she was on the show, but you had that bit cut out, didn't ya?’
Penny Lancaster, Stewart's wife, is said to have left the programme, which aired on British TV back in 2021, in tears after Wallace reprimanded her for a delay in cooking and refused her food.
And once in a rage, Rod went one better: ‘You're a tubby, bald-headed , ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya.’
The 60-year-old Wallace has recently been accused of sexual harassment. According to a BBC report, 13 people made allegations of inappropriate sexual comments spanning a period of 17 years. The production company confirmed an investigation on Thursday. However, Wallace's lawyers initially rejected the allegations.
