The German radio station WDR4 from Cologne is looking for the greatest hits of the 1980s for a big weekend special in November. You can vote online for your three favourite hits from this decade and also win a travel voucher worth €1000.00.
The broadcaster has not announced how many songs will make it onto the big hit list. In any case, a big radio special is planned from 20 to 23 November, which will also be broadcast via livestream. The grand finale will then even be shown on WDR television on 23 November.
WDR4 has announced that a total of 80 hours of hits from the 80s will be played over the weekend.
So, now it's your turn: Vote Rod Stewart into the playlist and hopefully as high up as possible with numerous votes.

Among the favourites that are sure to make it into WDR4's big playlist are, of course, hits like Baby Jane (Rod's last number one in Germany), Every Beat Of My Heart and Forever Young. But we all know that Sir Rod has released so many great songs that Only A Boy, Here To Eternity, Never Give Up On A Dream and a few others immediately spring to mind. Tip: But if you're only hoping to win the €1000 travel voucher, you should choose the songs that are among your favourites. Otherwise, vote for your personal favourite Rod songs of the 1980s in the big WDR4 playlist. Who knows, maybe we'll be in for a surprise and a song will end up on the list that no-one expected. The answer will be revealed on 23 November at the latest. And we will of course also announce the result then.
