If you look around for good whiskeys these days and search the world wide web, sooner or later you will come across this one logo that shows a happily laughing and winking wolf with a hat. That is WOLFIE, the logo of the whiskey label of superstar and singer Rod Stewart.

The 79-year-old did not announce the release of a new album or a new song in May 2023. He presented his WOLFIE’S WHISKY to the public at the time - a blended Scotch whisky that lives up to his reputation as a "Cockney Scotsman" and is a tribute to his Scottish heritage and his cheeky chappie image.

WOLFIE'S has since presented itself as a recommendable label and is still available in eleven countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Stewart himself promoted the brand's popularity via various social media channels and has since been the "face" of WOLFIE'S - alongside the winking wolf. But how did Sir Rod come to launch his own whiskey brand?

Stewart was inspired by his early and often wild days with the FACES in the 1970s. "For me, WOLFIE'S represents the carefree attitude of my mischievous days and the excitement of what life still has to offer - let the good times roll!" said the singer.

So it's no wonder that Rod is so enthusiastic about the drink. "Wolfie's is a real rascal and just one sip of the whisky takes you back to the good old days. Finely balanced and perfectly balanced, Wolfie’s is as enjoyable on the rocks as it is in a favourite cocktail,” he said. “It’s a fine drink whether you’re celebrating with friends, cheering a Celtic victory or reminiscing with family.”

And the enthusiasm is understandable, as WOLFIE’S Blended Scotch Whisky (40% ABV) is very well balanced with flavours of warming cinnamon, fresh vanilla and baked apple. The whisky has a delicate taste of sweet peat and pears in syrup before finishing with candied citrus peel and a gentle oak spice.

With its unique blend of rock 'n' roll roots, Americana and Scottish heritage, WOLFIE’S brings something new to the Scottish whisky market. WOLFIE’S is distilled on the shores of Loch Lomond by a team of experts with decades of whisky-making experience, and the brand is backed by a purely Scottish Team who really care about Scotland.

Reflecting the opening track of Stewart's 1991 album VAGABOND HEART, the lyrics "RHYTHM OF MY HEART" are emblazoned on the bottom of the bottle. Rod's recording of the song was a nod to his own Scottish heritage, having adapted the melody from the traditional folk song Loch Lomond.

Most recently, Rod Stewart toasted the 1st birthday of his WOLFIE'S in Las Vegas - along with his family and bandmates, the British rock legend celebrated the one-year anniversary of his award-winning whisky on August 7th and the upcoming 200th show and conclusion of his epic 13-year "Rod Stewart - The Hits" residency at Caesars lPalace.

The unsuspecting fans were treated to an impromptu a cappella performance of HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY and then sang the Faces classic OOH LA LA alongside his backing vocalists Holly Brewer, Becca Kotte, JoAnne Harper and Radio XX, an all-star rock band featuring Ben Carey (formerly of Lifehouse and Savage Garden), Bryce Soderberg (Lifehouse), Toby Rand (Rockstar Supernova finalist) and drummer Al Seratto.

Stewart kicked off the evening by standing behind the bar with his business partner Duncan Frew, CEO of WOLFIES WHISKY, serving shots of the house spirit to the lucky guests. The rock icon then joined his wife Penny Lancaster and his family, including his children Sean, Liam and Renee Stewart, as well as Liam's new wife Nicole Artukovich and Frew's wife Lauren.

Guests enjoyed special cocktails created with WOLFIE’S WHISKY, including the luscious Rockstar Martini with WOLFIE’S Scotch Whisky, Chambord, blood orange syrup, vanilla syrup, lime juice and champagne, and the spicy Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, a blend of Wolfie's Scotch Whisky, agave syrup, lime juice, fire tincture, mint and jalapeño.

While on stage, Stewart was presented with a cake, an oversized replica of a WOLFIE’S WHISKY bottle.
